Eddie Montilla is a world-class keyboardist with over 30 years of experience.  He is a songwriter signed to Universal Music Group Publishing and a producer as well.  Some of his clients have included DJ Khaled , Queen Latifah, Gym Class Heroes ,The Weeknd , NellyLil Wayne, Luis Fonsi, Cosculluela, Fox's "GLEE", Michael Jackson, Madonna, Belly, A$AP Rocky, 2 Chainz, Chris Brown, Nas, Ashanti  Lady Gaga, Gloria Estefan, Shakira, Pet Shop Boys, Don Omar, Daddy Yankee, Melanie Fiona, Christina Milian, Betty Wright, Angie Stone, Billie Myers, Spyro Gyra, Julio Iglesias, Nick Martinelli, Ja Rule, Jon Secada, RuPaul, Regina Belle, Joss Stone, Danny Tenaglia, Nestor Torres, Desmond Childs, Arthur Baker, Babyface, Diana Ross, Jamiroquai, Azucar Moreno, Quincy Jones, Producers Cool and Dre,Producer Ben Billions, SnoopDogg, Fat Joe , Rick Ross, Daryl Hall, and many more.  

Eddie's father, Fernando J Montilla, was a pioneer of the stereo imaging of sound tracks in the 1930's and founder of the exclusive Montilla Label from Spain.

He was constantly surrounded by music as a child and carried that with him in his life.  Eddie was born in New York City, and was raised in Puerto Rico. He continued to further his God-given talent by traveling around the world playing and recording music.  

Eddie does not have one specific genre; his ability to work in any genre from classical, hip-hop, latin, to scoring movies, is what makes him truly unique and one-of-a-kind.  He has conducted the London Symphony Orchestra numerous times at Abbey Road Studios.

In the hip-hop market he worked closely with producers Cool & Dre as their music-man.  Some of their collaborative efforts included: Linkin' Park & Busta Rhymes "We Made It,"  The Game featuring Lil Wayne "My Life," and Lil Wayne's "Phone Home" off of the Grammy Award Winning Carter III which won "Rap Album of the Year" in 2008.  He also co-wrote five songs on Lil Wayne's "The Rebirth" album."  Their most recent work was placed on Lil Wayne's the Carter IV, called "So Special" featuring John Legend, which was nominated for the Grammy Award "Rap Album of the Year" in 2012.  He has worked closely with the Gym Class Heroes and is most known for "I'm Home" and "Peace Sign Index Down."  He also co-wrote thirteen songs off Queen Latifah's "Persona" album in 2009.  

Eddie also works alongside producer Drew Money, working together on Nelly's "The Champ"  which is featured on ESPN's College Bowl.

Most recently in 2015 he co-wrote with Drew Money and Star of the famed FOX TV's "GLEE" Darren Criss the song "RISE" performed by Criss himself on one of the last episodes of the show's finale.

He just co-wrote "Ghetto Symphony" off of A$AP Rocky's debut album " Long Live A$AP " which debuted at #1 on Billboard Top 200 Albums!

In the Latin market he has worked with many artists, from Gloria Estefan and the "Miami Sound Machine" to Shakira and Daddy Yankee. Eddie worked on Don Omar's number one Billboard Album "iDon" and co-wrote "Ciao Bella".  He worked on the number one selling album for Azucar Moreno "Solo Se Vive Una Vez" and has worked with luminary Reggaeton artists from Puerto Rico including Tego Calderon and Daddy Yankee.  He has also worked closely with the world-renowned Latin Jazz flutist Nestor Torres and produced "Mambo Sensual." 

In Puerto Rico he produced the music to KIA's Amazing 2013 Ad Campaign  "Un Ritmo Differente" which has recieved accolades from everyone in the advertisement industry!

Eddie has a deep passion for movies and television and has scored music for movies such as the Japanese animated sensation "Yu-Gi-Oh," as well as Snoop Dogg's "Hood of Horror,"  Tori Spelling's "Trick,"  and Eva Longoria's "Senorita Justice."  He also performed the theme song to Disney's "Ice Age 3" featuring Queen Latifah.
